A short evening walk through the capital: the key sights of Old Tbilisi without lengthy transfers.
If you have just arrived in the capital, this three-hour route provides a practical map of the center: the old quarter, the sulfur baths and the point where Old Tbilisi meets the modern riverfront. It is a relaxed evening with a guide, not an attempt to see everything in one day.
The group meets at 17:00 at the designated point in Tbilisi. The entire route is on foot, with no bus: in three hours and roughly three kilometers, you will see the principal sights and can ask the guide about independent walks for the following days.
The operator's price is 27 GEL per person, including children under 12. The guide's services are included. Museum or bath tickets are paid locally if you decide to visit them separately.
What you will see
1. Sioni Cathedral
One of the city's principal churches, with a brief introduction to its history and Tbilisi's role as the religious center of eastern Georgia.
2. Metekhi Church
A clifftop viewpoint above the Mtkvari, overlooking the old riverbank and offering a useful perspective on the layout of the center.
3. Abanotubani
The sulfur bath district. The guide explains how the neighborhood developed and how it differs from the nearby tourist riverfront.
4. Bridge of Peace and Old Courtyards
Continue toward the modern center, then enter lanes where everyday city life remains visible beyond the familiar postcard facades.
