The route explores Petra Fortress and Tsikhisdziri on the Black Sea coast north of Batumi, usually with a stop at the banana grove.
Shorter tours last about seven hours and start from 65 GEL, while extended coastal programs can take 10–11 hours.
The Petra entrance ticket, usually around 15 GEL, is often extra. The nickname “Georgian Bali” is marketing language for this Black Sea location.
What you will see
1. Banana grove
A short stop at the plantings and beach north of Batumi. This is the day’s shop window, not a separate botanical garden.
2. Petra Fortress
Ruins above the sea in Tsikhisdziri. A view of the shore and a short walk around the site.
3. Tsikhisdziri
A village, a church or a trout farm — the stops depend on the operator.
4. Continue along the coast or return
Travel Batumi’s day is shorter and ends with lunch. BatumiLife’s route can continue along the coast to Kobuleti and Poti.
