Machakhela Valley
A full day in the Machakhela Valley with a gorge, waterfalls and, on many tours, a feast with dancing. Do not confuse it with a short Makhuntseti trip.

Machakhela is a full-day journey through the valley, not the shorter excursion to Makhuntseti commonly offered from Batumi.
The usual route includes the Gvara gun monument, Mirveti and its waterfalls, and often Tskhemlara.
Some tours last 9–10 hours and include a Georgian feast, while simpler 6–7-hour options start from about 60 GEL.
What you will see
1. Machakhela Valley
Entering the gorge from Batumi: a different Adjara, not the boulevard and not only Makhuntseti.
2. Gvara
One of the valley’s most recognisable stops. A short walk and a story about the gorge.
3. Mirveti and waterfalls
A village and nature stops. The lineup depends on the operator and the weather.
4. Feast or return
Some operators close the day with a Georgian table and dances; BatumiLife returns to town sooner.
